Speaking to Radio Tamazuj this week, Commissioner Machol Thon Gai said people were displaced to Khor Adar and Malut internally displaced camps.

He said the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the UN refugee agency UNHCR repatriated the 208 returnees voluntarily to Adong area of Baliet County.

Thon added that more than 800 displaced people are still in Khor Adar and Malut camps and they will be repatriated to their villages soon.

In January, Thon urged the displaced to return to their villages, saying the county had now recovered from the war.
