A new modern market officially opened yesterday at Gumbo area in Rajaf payam, Juba County.
At the opening, Juba County Commissioner Stephen Wani Michael said the market is part of the government’s plan to take towns to people.
“This is our expectation as a county that we should take towns to the people,” he said. “The market is well-built with stores and will contain vegetables and other commodities.”
He said the market will contain commodities that contribute toward developing trade in the County.
