Misseriya and Dajo reconcile after violent conflict

Misseriya and Dajo tribes in Lagawa County reached a reconciliation agreement over a recent conflict that led to the death of ten people.

A conflict led to the killing of six members of the Dajo tribe and four of the Misseriya tribe in the Nabagaya area on Monday. The conflict started at a party in Nabagaya in West Kordofan.

The Misseriya emir Ismail Mohammed Yusef told Radio Tamazuj the two sides reached an agreement to settle their differences during a conference held on Wednesday.

Prince Ismail explained that the conflict was between clans of the two tribes; the Said and Abo Alwan clans of Misseriya and the Nykuori and Aldara Alkabira clans of Dajo.
