Citizens in Dilling in Sudan’s South Kordofan state said market prices are rising.

A small bushel of sorghum increased to 18 SDG, one citizen told Radio Tamazuj.

Several local residents also complained of increasing tariffs of bus tickets when travelling to neighboring towns.

A bus ticket from El Obeid to Kadugli rose to 80 SDG, and a bus ticket from El Obeid to Dilling reached 40 SDG, they said.

The residents added that although prices are increasing, the security situation is calm and stable compared to the past.
