Police authorities in Maridi County warned the general public against attempting suicide in the state.

This comes after a 35-year-old lady attempted to hang herself in police custody in the area on Monday.

Police officer Double Seven said those who will attempt suicide will be locked behind bars saying suicide attempt is a crime in the country.
