Maridi hospital runs out of drugs

The medical director in Maridi hospital in South Sudan’s Western Equatoria says there are shortages of drugs in the hospital due to delay of drugs from the National Ministry of Health in Juba since last year.

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Thursday, Maridi hospital medical director Chandi Sevia said they are sending patients to buy drugs from pharmacies outside because there are no drugs in the hospital.

He pointed that HIV/AIDS patients are the only ones getting drugs because there are humanitarian agencies which are supplying this type of with drug.
