Marathon launched in Juba as part of peace festival

As part of the ongoing sports festival for peace and unity in South Sudan’s capital Juba, several towns participated in a marathon launched at Buluk playing ground.

As part of the ongoing sports festival for peace and unity in South Sudan’s capital Juba, several towns participated in a marathon launched at Buluk playing ground.

In the women’s marathon, Joan Noel took the first place by a record of 20:09, Angelina Mandiro from Rumbek became the second by a record of 16:67, and Gamberi Pajoy from Yambio took the third place by a record of16:54.

In the men’s running William Magog from Juba got the first place by a record of 35:30, the second place went to John Marial from Rumbek by a record of 24:64,  and Mubarak Abel from Yambio took the third space within 21:7.
