Sixteen (16) aid organizations are currently working in Rubkona County and 20 in Malakal County, two of the most conflict-affected areas of South Sudan, while five of nine counties of Unity state remain inaccessible.
The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) released a map with accompanying charts today showing operational presence of different aid organizations by sector of work.
The charts indicates which NGOs are working in which areas of the country and in which fields. In the field of health in Torit County, for example, the only active NGO is Merlin, according to the OCHA document.
