A government official working in the judiciary died after a military vehicle ran over him in Kadugli town in Sudan’s South Kordofan State last Thursday, multiple sources said.

The sources told Radio Tamazuj that the official was riding a motorcycle on his way back home when a military vehicle driven by an army officer with the rank of first lieutenant ran over him. Reportedly, he died on the spot near the Kadugli Police Hospital.

It is unclear whether police authorities managed to arrest the officer or not.
