A man was seriously injured in an attack by cattle raiders in Twic East County of South Sudan’s Jonglei state.
Commissioner of Twic East County Dau Akuei Jurkuch told Radio Tamazuj that the cattle raiders stolen 29 cattle Monday evening, but a militia managed to recover the cattle.
He added that a man was seriously injured when the militia followed the attackers but he was taken to Bor teaching hospital for treatment.
Akuei said the area has witnessed a number of cattle raid attacks since January. He blamed raiders from Gumuruk in Boma for the unrest.
