A man was found beaten to death in Hai Referendum area of Juba this morning, eyewitnesses said.
Witnesses said the body appeared to have been beaten with sticks. Criminal investigation police were informed about the incident but could not immediately come to the scene, eyewitness said.
The dead man was believed to have been staying alone in a house. No suspects have been arrested so far.
On 9 June a man was found burned in his house in Hai Referendum but the culprits have not been found. On 10 June gunmen caused panic in the same area injuring one civilian.
Such incidents are causing a growing fear among the residents of the area, a source said.
