Two people are confirmed dead over a land dispute in Juba, according a neighbor who stays in the neighborhood.

The incident, which occurred at around 8:30 a.m. in Walwalang Island in Juba was due to an agriculture land border dispute.

Neighboring families used pangas and spears to fight each other leading to two deaths and several injuries.

Police came to the crime scene and arrested two culprits. Later a third suspect was arrested a few hours after hiding.

The dead bodies were taken to Juba Teaching Hospital.
