Malik Agar forms committee to end use of children in conflict

Malik Agar, chairman of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-North) on Monday issued a decision forming a committee to implement an action plan to end and prevent the recruitment and use of children in conflict.

The SPLM-North leader had signed the action plan with the United Nations in a ceremony organized in Geneva in November 2016.

The committee members included Yagoub Osman Kaluka, Mahna Bashir, Mamoun Hamad, lawyer Abbas Kara, Kuku Ibrahim, Najwa Musa, Ishraga Ahmed Khamis, Murad Modia and Isaac Bira.
