He encouraged Juba residents to show their support for the homegrown talent, stating, “We have the champion all the way from Malaysia, Jian Kai Chee, who arrived today at our Juba International Airport. He is going to be the sole challenger to James Majok. Make sure everyone is there tomorrow at 2 pm, but the doors will be opened from 1:00 pm.”

President Obob underscored the uniqueness of the occasion, noting that it marks the first time the African continent is hosting such an international tournament.
