Malaria cases on the rise in Tima, South Kordofan

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Thursday, an aid worker in Tima area said there are frequent complaints from the local residents about increasing spread of the disease among the people in the area, amid acute shortages of medicines.

Kucho Shaine Abajo, director of a local charity organization working on peace building in the Nuba Mountains region confirmed that there are no health services in the area.
