Madhol county commissioner takes oath of office

The newly appointed commissioner of Madhol County in South Sudan’s Aweil State has taken oath of office recently.

Peter Mou Kuan was appointed through a gubernatorial order last week by Governor Deng Deng Akuei. He replaces Manut Yel Lual who was removed from his position in less than six month.

 The new county commissioner confirmed to Radio Tamazuj on Friday that he has taken oath of office on Thursday in Malualkon before the deputy governor William Ater Lual and the state minister of local government Abuor Gordon Nhial.

“Yes, I have been sworn in. It was on Thursday at the state headquarters in Malualkon. I would like to extend my sincere thanks and gratitude to His Excellency Deng Deng Akuei, governor of Aweil East state for appointing me as Madhol county commissioner,” he said.

The top county official said he would work with everybody in the area to unite the community and help the state and the national government to implement the national dialogue.
