David Amo Dimi, a member of South Sudan’s National Legislative Assembly representing Maban County of Upper Nile State, reports shortages of basic services and lack of education.
Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Thursday, the lawmaker expressed concern about the poor situation. He said the area is witnessing poor health services amid influx of many displaced people affected by the conflict in others parts of Upper Nile state.
David pointed out that the county also hosts thousands of Blue Nile refugees. He said education needs to improve by training teachers in the new South Sudanese syllabus.
David called on the relevant authorities to provide basic services in the county.
