Looters break into Sudanese trader’s shop in Wau

An armed group broke into the shop of a Sudanese trader in Wau town in South Sudan’s Western Bahr el Ghazal State on Sunday.

An armed group broke into the shop of a Sudanese trader in Wau town in South Sudan’s Western Bahr el Ghazal State on Sunday.

Nasr Eddin Mohamed Abdel Rahman, the owner of the shop, told Radio Tamazuj that the shop was looted at night. He further said about 28,000 South Sudanese pounds were taken.

He called on the local authorities to provide full protection for traders and their properties. Mohamed pointed out that he opened a case with the police on the matter.
