Pasquale Francis Fama, a political adviser for South Sudan’s proposed Lol State government was killed on Tuesday night in an attack by gunmen on his house.

Sources confirmed to Radio Tamazuj that authorities arrested one suspect who was believed to be injured in the exchange of fire during the attack on the adviser’s house.

The bodyguard of the adviser said he believes the three gunmen who attacked the house were from one of the organized forces.

The motive behind the killing of the political adviser remains unknown.
