Francis Piol Bol Buk, former information minister in the proposed Lol State has welcomed his dismissal from the post without new assignment.
“Since that period to the day I am writing this note, I have had incredible experiences of both pleasant and some rough moments which I would take home as a life experience”, said the former government official.
The former cabinet member thanked the appointed governor Rizik Zachariah Hassan for his trust to appoint him in his first cabinet in the last four months. He also praised his community members who endorsed his nomination to hold a constitutional post in the state.
Francis advised his community to continue supporting the state government.
Rizik Zachariah Hassan, governor of Lol State, issued an administrative order recently sacking Francis Piol.The former minister has been replaced with Angelo Wol Mawien.
Lol State is one of the states which came into existence after President Salva Kiir issued a controversial ‘Establishment Order’ in October 2015 to divide up South Sudan and create 28 states.
