South Sudan’s Lol State governor Rizik Hassan Zachariah on Monday issued a decree sacking the state security advisor Joseph Akook Aleu along with 3 county commissioners.

Akook a long-serving state advisor was reappointed the county commissioner of Mathiang replacing Dr. Kuach Mathiang.

The county commissioners of Malual Centre and Kuru counties Lual Ngor Athian and Pasqual Achak Wana were fired and in their place Maj. Kuach Angong and Captain Martin Dut were appointed respectively.

Lol State Information minister Michael Mathok Wal said the changes are procedural noting that the commissioners have had difficulties in discharging their duties in the affected counties.
