The governor of South Sudan’s Lot state has removed two ministers from their positions and replaced them with new officials.
Governor Rizik Hassan Zachariah on Saturday sacked Angok Achuol Barjok from the ministry of agriculture and replaced him with Marko Dau Ruay.
Another minister affected by the new changes was Adam Garang Wol Kon, minister of education who has been replaced with Garang Akok Ngor as the new minister of education.
Other appointed officials include, Peter Dut Akot as the new minister of physical infrastructure, Santino Apath Apath as the new minister of rural development, and Bass shatta Fadul as the new minister of gender.
In a separate order, the governor appointed Abal Abal Mou as Ayat West County Commissioner, Riny Riny Lual as Marial Baai county commissioner , Lino Dut Wol, as Gomjuer East County commissioner, Ngong Kuac Mathiang as the new Makem county commissioner and Michael Malual Mawien as Malual North County Commissioner.
