The governor of South Sudan’s Lol state has issued a gubernatorial order appointing the government chief whip in the state parliament.

Governor Rizik Zachariah Hassan, according to the order which became public on Friday, appointed former agriculture minister Angok Achuol Barjok as the government chief whip.

Separately, the state legislative assembly elected Moses Atak Deng Wol as new the chairperson of the parliamentary committee for education, Gender and social Welfare.
