Authorities in Lol State have accused opposition forces loyal to rebel leader Riek Machar of abducting about 45 youth from Kaka, Minamba, and Boshbura on Thursday.

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj  on Friday Lol state Information Minister Omar Ishaq claimed that the opposition forces are exploiting the government's commitment to the cessation of hostilities agreement by attacking their forces and abducting young people for recruitment.

In mid-February, Lol State authorities accused rebels loyal to Machar of kidnapping 15 young people in Deimzubeir area.

But Machar’s military spokesman William Gathjieth told Radio Tamazuj that the accusations are false.
