Al-Hawadis Street Initiative in Damazin town in Sudan’s Blue Nile state has donated money to sick children admitted to Damazin Hospital and sponsored transportation of a child in critical condition in order to receive treatment in the capital Khartoum.
The initiative donated money after the hospital reported spread of some diseases among underage children in the town recently. Mohamed Abdel-Rahim, a member of the initiative, told Radio Tamazuj that they their mission is to support patients especially children from poor families.
The initiative’s member pointed out that they are being funded by donors and people of good will so children in critical condition get good treatment in Khartoum. Abdel-Rahim called on the people of good will to support them in order to help the children.
