Lighton FC still undefeated after beating Our Lady Fatima 2-1
Lighton football club made their fourth consecutive win in the first round of Maridi Premier League tournament for the first division after beating Our Lady of Fatima football club 2-1 on Saturday.
In the match at Maridi freedom square, Lighton striker John Economic notched one in the first half while Thomas Gadi equalized for Lady Fatima to make it 1-1 at the end of the first half.
Lighton Midfielder Charles Lino sealed the winning score in the second half.
Lighton FC leading the league with 12 points in four matches followed by Gbutala FC with 9 points in three matches, Maridi Arrows in third with 8 points in four matches and Our Lady Fatima in fourth with 4 points.
