Latjor governor sacks education minister, county commissioner

The governor of South Sudan's Latjor State has issued an order removing two officials from their positions in the state.

Governor James Duer Chuol, according the order which became public on Wednesday, relieved Malou County Commissioner Gatwech Jock Deng and William Pur Tut Deng, State Minister of Education.

Two other separate orders were issued and Gloria Peter Lam Nguoth was appointed the new State Minister of Education and James Lul Kan was name the new County Commissioner of Malou with effect from May 21.

Both Gloria and James Lul Kan took oath of office on May 22 at Latjor State Coordination office in Juba.

State information Minister Peter Hoth Tuach welcomed the appointments and thanked the outgoing officials.
