The governor of South Sudan’s Latjor State on Monday appointed the executive body of the state government after the two main coalition partners agreed on a power-sharing deal over government positions recently.
Governor Peter Gatkuoth Kor, according to a gubernatorial order seen by Radio Tamazuj, appointed state ministers with effect from 25 September.
Governor Peter appointed Gatkuoth Bim Nyoak as Minister of Local government, Peter Hoth Tuach as Minister of information, culture, youth and sport, Daniel Kech Puoch as minister of finance and public services, and William Pur Tut as minister of education.
The order also appointed Nyanuer William Nyuon as minister of gender, child and social welfare, Changkuoth Run Jal as minister of health, Dech Kuek Jiokthiang as minister of physical infrastructure and Nyaruach Pal Gai as minister of rural development.
He also appointed Abraham Tuektuek Kutey Both as Commissioner of Nasir County, Gatwech Reath as Ulang County Commissioner, James Gatwech Joak as Malow County Commissioner and James Hoth Kun Kong as Thorow County Commissioner.
