The governor of South Sudan's Latjor State has issued a gubernatorial order appointing a political adviser in the state.

Governor James Duer Chuol, according to the order issued on on 14 May and seen by Radio Tamazuj, appointed Kueth Kang Deng as the political adviser in the state government.

Kueth is the secretary general of the SPLM party led by President Salva Kiir.

Latjor state information Peter Hoth Tuach described Kueth as a veteran politician who had served in various positions in Sudan and South Sudan.
