Local authorities in Boro Medina of Raja County in Western Bahr el Ghazal state have allotted a piece of arable land for Sudanese refugees living at the camp.
Boro Medina Information Officer Abdullah Isahaq told Radio Tamazuj that South Darfur refugees were very excited after they received their land from the native administration.
The official said that the offer will improve the living conditions of refugees. He predicted a successful planting season this year.
Refugees at Boro Medina camp have been facing a food shortage amid complaints that aid groups failed to give food this year.
