One person is dead and three wounded after armed gunmen attacked a village near the Lakes State Legislative Assembly about a kilometer outside Rumbek town.
Some of the attackers wore police uniforms while others were in civilian clothes, Radio Good News reported.
One victim was shot in the chest, another in the shoulder, and a third in the leg, according to the station.
A doctor at Rumbek Hospital said one of the injuries was serious while the others were minor.
