Lainya Central on Sunday evening beat Young Stars 5-4 in a penalty shootout in a match played at Lainya Freedom Square.
The secretary-general of Lainya Local football association Thomas Mawa said the 5-4 penalties came following a 1-1 draw in fulltime play.
Lemeri Emmanuel scored for Young Stars in the 18th minute before a player only identified as Evera equalized for Lainya Central.
Fly Eagles has already secured a place for the final that will be played on Sunday.
They will face the winner of a match Wednesday between Super Star and Lainya Central. The winner of te final will represent Lainya in the South Sudan Cup, Mawa said
Sixteen teams took part in the Lainya Local football Association games which are ending on Sunday.
The local sports association secretary general also pointed out football in Lainya faced numerous challenges including lack of nets, whistles, playing boots and uniforms for both players and referees, trophies for the winning teams, balls, and transport for players from one playing ground to another.
Mawa said Lainya has only two playing grounds, one within Lainya Center (Lainya Freedom Square) and another at Loka Secondary School.
The local association games were played on a knockout basis.
