Authorities in the capital of Warrap State decided to allow butchers to charge 2 pounds more in the price of meat, after a strike by butchers.
Radio Miraya reported on Wednesday that the meat sellers refused to work for two days, demanding an increase in prices from 16 pounds to 20 pounds per kilo.
Kwajok Town Council Executive Director Kuol Majok Majok was quoted as saying the meat sellers would resume work Thursday after the increment was authorized by town council authorities.
