The communities of Kajo-Keji in Central Equatoria and Uganda’s Moyo district held a reconciliation workshop following clashes that killed about 50 people last September.
The workshop agreed to begin an immediate border demarcation exercise and for the warring Ma’di and Kuku people shall now work to protect each other, according to Dabe Francis Elisama, an MP from Central Equatoria, UN Radio Miraya reported.
Dabe added that the Central Equatoria and Republic of South Sudan governments should improve service delivery in the area
