Kuajok schools sports competition kicks off

Secondary and primary school football teams in Kuajok began an annual competition yesterday. More than 20 teams will take part.

Secondary and primary school football teams in Kuajok began an annual competition yesterday. More than 20 teams will take part.

The competition is organized every year to promote peace and allow students and teachers from different regions to interact, a local ministry official said.

In yesterday’s games, Kuajok National secondary school defeated Camboni College secondary school 2 to 1 while Emmy One primary school beat Atem Wel primary school 3 to 0.

In tomorrow’s games group C Kuajok National secondary school will play against St. Augustine secondary school. Kuajok Boys primary school play against Good Samaritan primary school.

 Meanwhile, Gogrial state Football association will officially open division one football competitions on Thursday at Kuajok Freedom Square. Kuajok City will play Al Mariek FC, and on Friday, Grass Co FC will play Al Amal Hura. Rhino will play Nile United on Saturday and Kuajok United will play Al Salam on Sunday.
