South Sudan’s President Salva Kiir returned to Juba on Friday, after a visit to Addis Ababa, during which he met opposition leader Riek Machar and attended the IGAD summit.
President Salva Kiir also had a sideline meeting with his Sudanese counterpart Omar al-Bashir.
Speaking to reporters at the Juba International Airport, Minister of Information Michael Makuei Lueth said Kiir will also travel to Khartoum to hold another meeting with rebel leader Riek Machar on June 25.
The two leaders met for the first time in nearly two years on Wednesday evening in the Ethiopian capital.
