South Sudan`s President Salva Kiir Mayardit on Friday night reshuffled officials in Warrap State, including a state advisor, ministers and two county commissioners
In a decree aired on the government-owned South Sudan Broadcasting Cooperation (SSBC), Kiir relieved Francis Marial Abur, the state advisor on peace and security, replacing him with Peter Atem Yak.
He also relieved state ministers nominated by the Sudan People`s Liberation Movement (SPLM) including, Alith Deng Cyer, Minister of Parliamentary and Legal Affairs, Agok Ayar, Minister of Youth Culture and Sports, Alek Garang Atem, Minister of Trade and Industry, Thiik Lual Mayar, Minister of Roads and Bridges and Acuil Malei Aliab, Minister of General Education.
Also dropped was Cueibet Agei Dut, Minister of Finance and Investment of the South Sudan Opposition Alliance (OPP).
The South Sudanese leader then appointed Solomon Bol Mabior, Minister of Parliamentary and Legal Affairs, Madok Bol Agany, Minister of Youth, Culture, and Sports, Nybol Ater Marot, Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr. Madieu Thiep Madieu, Minister of Roads and Bridges, Debora Awut Mayom Agok, Minister of general Education and Instruction all from the SPLM and Awut Alieu Anhiem, Minister of Finance and Investment from the OPP.
Kiir issued another decree relieving Theresa Awien Dhal, Deputy Chairperson Anti-corruption Commission SPLM, Benjamin Anyar Math, Chairperson Relief and Rehabilitation Commission SPLM, and Elizabeth Kuol Ring, Member Relive and Rehabilitation all from the SPLM.
He then appointed Deng Bak Noon Deng, Deputy Chairperson Anti-corruption Commission, Elizabeth Akuol Ring, Chairperson of the Relief and Rehabilitation Commission, and Bona Mawan Yap, a member of the Relief and Rehabilitation Commission.
In another decree, the president relieved Maluak Lueth Maluak, Gogrial East County Commissioner, and, Andrea Anyok Malueth, Tonj North County all from the SPLM.
He replaced them with William Duchak Bol Duchak and Kiir Kuc Agony as county commissioners of Gogrial East and Tonj North Counties respectively.
The decree did not explain the reasons for the changes.
