Kiir reshuffles Warrap and Central Equatoria officials

President Salva Kiir Mayardit on Wednesday evening reshuffled officials in Warrap and Central Equatoria states.

Those affected are all from the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) in the Transitional Government of National Unity.

In a decree aired on the state-owned South Sudan Broadcasting Corporation, Kiir sacked ministers William Wol Mayom Bol for Information and Communication Service, Madut Bol Agany for Youth, Sports and Culture, Dr Madhieu Tiep Madhieu for Roads and Bridges, Deng Madut Deng for Public Service, Dr Barac Atem Malith for Health and Elizabeth Akuol Ring.

They were replaced by James Ayik Deng, Information and Communication Service, Kero Michael Machar, Youth, Sports and Culture, Amir Amet Puol, Roads and Bridges, Mamer Beth Mathiop, Public Service, Labor and Human Resource Development and Dr Madhel James Akop, Health.

In the Warrap State Independent Commission, Kiir sacked the Chairperson of the Relief and Rehabilitation Commission, Marko Dhal Malith, the Chairperson of the Peace and Conflict Resolution Commission, Deng Bak Noon, Deputy Chairperson of the Anti-corruption Commission, Sebrino Philip Basia, Deputy Chairperson of Employees Justice Chamber and Marko Angor Malang Angor, Tonj South County Commissioner.

Kiir appointed Maduot Maduot, the Chairperson of the Relief and Rehabilitation Commission, Thokriel Chileu Madhieu, the Chairperson of the Peace and Conflict Resolution Commission, Dina Ruai Riei, the Deputy Chairperson of the Anti-corruption Commission, Peter Deng Awuor Mayom, the Deputy Chairperson of Employees Justice Chamber and Ring Deng Ading the Tonj South County Commissioner. Joseph Madut Deng replaced the late Kur Kuc Agol as the Tonj North County Commissioner.

In Central Equatoria, Kiir sacked advisors Jospeh Gore Samuel of Legal Affairs and Jenifer Yobu Lasuba of Human Rights.

He also sacked ministers Gerald Francis Nyakunya, of Peacebuilding, Viana Kakule Aggrey of Finance, Planning and Investment, Wani Tom Sebit Michael of Trade and Industry, Fedrico Laku Raymond of Housing, Land and Public Utilities, Mawa Amos Moses of Roads and Bridges, Modi John Malou, of Public Service, Labour, and Human Resource Development and Huda Michael Leila, Minister Gender, Child and Social Welfare.

He appointed Naptali Hassan Gale, State Advisor on Legal Affairs and Valentino Kenyi Pitia, State Advisor on Human Rights.

Jacob Aligo Ladu was appointed Minister of Peacebuilding, Sallah Rajab Bunduki, Minister of Finance, Planning and Investment, Stephen Ladu Wansimo, Minister of Trade and Industry, David Morbe Aquilino, Minister of Housing, Land and Public Utilities, Clement Maring Samuel, Minister of Roads and Bridges, Huda Michael Laila, Minister of Public Service, Labour and Human Resource Development, Zendia Eliza Abu, Minister of Gender, Child and Social Welfare.
