Pieng is replaced by Makur Marol Aduot, they said. Kiir’s change of the country’s top cop comes shortly after the SPLM-In Opposition of Riek Machar chose the interior ministry, which oversees the country’s police service, as one of its ministries to lead during the proposed transitional government of national unity.
