President Salva Kiir on Tuesday appointed Marol Mayuol as the new chief administrator in his office, replacing Bol Wek Agoth who was removed from the office after serving in the acting chief administrator after removal of Yel Luol over corruption scandal in 2015.
Officials at the presidency told Radio Tamazuj the appointments of the executive director and chief administrator are made with the knowledge of the president because they are direct official contacts between the president, his family members, communities, friends and those seeking private and official audience outside official working hours or playing a significant role in managing his time.
