South Sudan’s President Salva Kiir Mayardit on Tuesday morning met the Israeli Ambassador to South Sudan, Hanan Goder in the capital Juba.
Addressing the press after the meeting, Ambassador Goder said they discussed bilateral relations between South Sudan and Israel.
Goder revealed that his country will support the South Sudanese government in the areas of agriculture, technology and security, saying there is an agricultural project currently running in Bor, Torit and Rumbek towns.
He also added that Israel will offer scholarships to South Sudanese students under the theme, “Learn and Earn” which will give students the opportunity to study and work for some time before returning home.
