South Sudan’s President Salva Kiir had a prayer meeting with a visit bishop from neighboring Uganda today.
Bishop Franklin Mugisha came to the South Sudanese capital Juba to celebrate Easter festive with the South Sudanese people.
Speaking to the press after the prayer meeting, South Sudan’s Minister of wildlife Jemma Nunu Kumba said Bishop Franklin had delivered a special message to South Sudanese to support their leaders by praying.
She pointed out that the religious leader’s message to the people of South Sudan is to encourage their leaders to make decisions for peace and stability.
For his part, the visiting bishop Franklin said his mission in South Sudan is to pray for peace in the world’s youngest nation.
