Kiir fires Nzara County Commissioner

South Sudan’s President Salva Kiir Mayardit on Friday evening fired the Commissioner of Nzara County in Western Equatoria State. 

In several decrees aired on state-owned broadcaster South Sudan Broadcasting Corporation (SSBC), Kiir replaced Zizi Richard Paulino with Lino Kuogo Patai. 

Kiir also relieved Amos Morris Yorobamo as Deputy Chairperson Human Rights Commission and replaced him with Simon Ali Charles. 

In another decree, the President revoked the appointments of Simon Peter Loro and John Fraizer Albino as parliamentarians to the Western Equatoria State Transitional Parliament replacing them with Gabriel Tumobori, and John Loro Binyi respectively. 

All the officials replaced from Western Equatoria State were representing the Sudan People`s Liberation Movement in Opposition (SPLM/IO) ticket in the Unity Government. 

In Upper Nile State, Kiir relived the Minister of Labour, Public Service and Human Resource Development, Thon Ahoc Deng Kur, replacing him with Emmanuel Daniel Kaman Ayuel.

The Head of State did not give reasons for the changes.
