President Salva Kiir issued a presidential decree removing second deputy governor of the Bank of South Sudan (BOSS) Jamal Abdullah Wani and replacing him with Odera Enocent Ochan.
President Kiir also issued another decree dismissing non-executive member of the Board of Directors Dr. Kimo Aban and appointed Agoyom Akomjo Muselim to the position.
The executive orders went into effect from 26 August, announced on South Sudan Television (SSTV) Tuesday. The decrees gave no reasons for dismissal of the two officials from the bank.
