Kiir appoints Taban Lo Liyong head of South Sudan research council

Salva Kiir has appointed members of the governing council of the South Sudan research council on Thursday in Juba.

Kiir appointed renowned writer Taban Lo Liyong as the chairperson of the council and US-based anthropologist Jok Madut Jok as secretary general. Other members of the council include:
