Abraham Gum Makuac has been appointed as the interm SPLM chairperson of the proposed Gogrial state, by President Salva Kiir.

“I want to inform you that I was appointed as SPLM interim chairman in my state and I will from now be travelling to Juba for a leadership briefing” said Gum worshipers at St. Joseph Catholic church on Sunday.

In a letter, the SPLM leadership in Juba congratulated Gum for his new appointment as the interim SPLM chairperson and directed him to be in collaboration with SPLM national secretariat.
