Sudan’s government has reiterated its commitment to maintain good relations with South Sudan and to avoid deterioration of diplomatic ties between the two countries.
Speaking during a seminar on the African agenda for post-conflict reconstruction on Saturday, Ibrahim Ghandour, Sudan’s Foreign Minister said that maintaining good relations with South Sudan remains his ministry’s top priority.
He pointed out that Khartoum is dealing with its southern neighbour with great patience despite serious violations committed by the South Sudanese government.
