Sudan’s Minister of Information Ahmed Bilal Osman has denied on Monday accusations that the recommendations of the Freedom and Fundamental Rights Committee in the National Dialogue were changed after submission.

The minister told Radio Tamazuj what has been said about changes of the outcomes document of the National Dialogue are rumors meant to create problems.

“The issue of the changes of the outcomes is just rumors by other to create problems. This has never and will not happen,” he said. He affirmed that the outcomes had been signed by the secretariat and heads of political parties and cannot be modified fraudulently.

The head of Freedoms and Fundamental Rights Committee Amar al-Sajad said in statement to the press earlier this week that there are frauds in the outcomes document of his committee.

He claimed that more than 18 pages of the outcomes of the committee have been changed, suggesting that some political parties may pull out from the National Dialogue.
