Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta on Saturday arrived in Khartoum for talks with his Sudanese counterpart Omar al-Bashir.
Sudanese Foreign Affairs spokesman Garib Allah Al-Khidir said in a press statement yesterday that President Kenyatta was on a two-day visit. He further said the visit was aimed at boosting mutual relations and discussing matters of regional interest.
‘’The two presidents will discuss issues including the crisis in South Sudan,’’ said Al-Khidir.
He noted that the two leaders would sign agreements including on agriculture, technology, media, education and infrastructure.
