Kapoeta woman complains over her husband’s arrest

A 39-year-old woman has lodged a complaint with the Kapoeta police after her husband had been arrested for allegedly stealing cattle on April 24 at Topos-jie Village in Kapoeta State.

A 39-year-old woman has lodged a complaint with the Kapoeta police after her husband had been arrested for allegedly stealing cattle on April 24 at Topos-jie Village in Kapoeta State.

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Wednesday, Hellen Nadai, a police officer in charge of women desk said the woman complained about the arrest of her husband for allegedly stealing three cows from Topos-Jie.

“The woman complained to us that if her husband is arrested, then who will take cares of her children,” the police officer said.

Nadai added that the woman’s husband denied accusations that he was involved in cattle raid on April 24.

“Police arrested also two other criminals at the scene, bringing the number of the arrested criminals to three,” She said.
